Resumen

El talento humano constituye uno de los principales factores de creación de valor en las organizaciones contemporáneas; sin embargo, su tratamiento dentro de la contabilidad financiera continúa siendo limitado, al registrarse principalmente como gasto laboral y no como activo estratégico generador de beneficios económicos futuros. El problema central radica en la brecha existente entre el valor económico que aportan las capacidades, conocimientos y competencias del personal y su representación formal en los estados financieros. El objetivo del artículo es analizar el talento humano como activo estratégico desde la perspectiva de la contabilidad financiera y la gestión organizacional en empresas contemporáneas de Panamá. Metodológicamente, se propone un enfoque cuantitativo, de alcance correlacional-explicativo, con diseño no experimental y transversal, aplicado a organizaciones panameñas de sectores intensivos en servicios, comercio, logística y finanzas. Los resultados esperados sugieren que una gestión estratégica del talento humano se asocia positivamente con mayor productividad, eficiencia operativa, rentabilidad y generación de valor empresarial. El aporte del estudio consiste en integrar la visión contable-financiera con la gestión organizacional, proponiendo un modelo analítico que permite interpretar el talento humano como recurso estratégico clave para la sostenibilidad y competitividad empresarial.
