La gamificación como estrategia pedagógica en prácticas comunitarias de fisioterapia: un estudio de caso

En el proceso de formación en las practicas comunitarias del programa académico de fisioterapia es importante combinar la comprensión conceptual, le reflexión crítica y una articulación entre la teoría y la práctica, sin embargo, existen dificultades relacionadas con el recuerdo de contenidos y su aplicación en contextos reales. El objetivo de este artículo es analizar la gamificación como una estrategia pedagógica que permite reforzar el aprendizaje sobre el área de la discapacidad en estudiantes de séptimo semestre de fisioterapia al realizar su práctica comunitaria. Se desarrolló un estudio de caso con enfoque cualitativo y alcance descriptivo, en el que participaron doce estudiantes que realizaron su práctica comunitaria a lo largo de un semestre académico. Se realizo una intervención con actividades gamificadas orientadas al repaso y apropiación de contenidos relacionados con discapacidad y el rol de fisioterapia en las intervenciones colectivas. Se recolectó la información mediante la observación docente y las reflexiones escritas de los y las estudiantes. Los resultados evidenciaron un incremento en la participación, motivación y el interés por los contenidos abordados, así como una mejor comprensión de los temas tratados en su relación con la práctica. Se concluye que la gamificación como estrategia pedagógica fortalece el aprendizaje significativo y el proceso formativo.
